Sheba
Sheba is all about L-O-V-E. Poor girl has had an awful life up
until now, but she was rescued by some wonderful good Samaritans
and is recovering in the rescue now. This beauty was kept out in
a small, feces-filled pen, and her only food was spoiled garbage
tossed into her pen once a week by her "owners" when they cleaned
out the refrigerator. They tossed the food in to her still in its
plastic containers, and she was forced to chew open the plastic to
get to the food inside. Well, she's getting hot cooked meals and
room service now, and has decided that life inside is SO good,
it's hard to get her to go out! She is learning all the joys and
rules of life inside a home, and this girl is smart as a whip.
She is also an incredibly agile athlete, and anyone looking for an
agility dog would be lucky to have her. She adores attention and
is ever so grateful for any little bit of attention. She is a
bossy little girl with other dogs, and she does well with
submissive dogs or very alpha dogs who can put her in her place.
Sheba has tested positive for heartworms, so she will be
undergoing treatment for the next 60 days and will be available
around mid-May. While our girl is busy healing, she will be
taking applications, so ask about her today!

"A harbor, even if it is a little harbor, is a good thing, since
adventures come into it as well as go out, and the life in it grows
strong, because it takes something from the world and has something
to give in return." -Sarah Orne Jewett, from "River Driftwood"
